  • 1 (15.25-oz.) box gluten-free chocolate cake mix
  • 3 mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 ¼ cups extra-creamy oat milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • Powdered sugar, for topping

How to Make Rich Chocolate Banana Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 10-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment.

To a large bowl, add the cake mix. Whisk to eliminate any lumps.

In another medium bowl, mash the bananas. Add the zest, oat milk, and oil. Mix to combine.

Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until no dry spots remain. Do not overmix.
